Areas of Focus

Faith-Integrated Therapy

Respectful therapy for clients who want their Christian faith and values thoughtfully included in their care.

Virtual sessions across Massachusetts, Tennessee, Virginia, and New York

Faith integration is always optional and entirely guided by you. If you would prefer sessions without a faith component, that is welcome too.

This work is not a substitute for pastoral care or guidance from your church community. I see it as complementary to that support, not a replacement for it.

Faith and Anxiety

Anxiety and faith are not in competition. We will work through fear, worry, and overthinking without ever treating your faith as something to set aside or push through, but as part of the whole picture.

Religious Scrupulosity

Scrupulosity can show up as intense guilt, fear of sin, repeated reassurance seeking, or compulsive religious behaviors that never quite bring peace. I use evidence-based OCD treatment, including ERP, to address these patterns with care and respect for your beliefs.

Faith and Life Decisions

Relationships, vocation, family decisions, and uncertainty about the future can all feel tangled up with questions of faith. We will work through these decisions in a way that stays connected to your personal values, with your faith as part of that process, not despite it.

Spiritual Struggles

Doubt, guilt, grief, disconnection, or difficulty experiencing God's presence are common, even among people with deep faith. This is a space to be honest about where you are, without judgment.

How therapy can help

Wherever you are in your faith, you deserve a therapist who takes both your mental health and your beliefs seriously. We will build a plan that fits who you are, at whatever pace feels right.

Common Questions

About faith-integrated therapy

Will you bring up faith even if I do not ask for it?

No, faith integration is entirely optional and only happens if and when you want it. Sessions can focus purely on clinical work with no faith component at all.

Can you help with religious scrupulosity specifically?

Yes, I treat religious scrupulosity using evidence-based ERP, adapted with sensitivity to your specific beliefs and religious context.

Is this a replacement for talking to my pastor or church community?

No, this work is meant to complement pastoral care and your church community, not replace it. I encourage clients to stay connected to those relationships alongside therapy.

Faith-Integrated Groups

Groups are currently forming for Christian women navigating dating and relationship anxiety and for Orthodox Christian teen girls.
