Therapy for Men

A practical, judgment-free space for men navigating dating, relationships, loneliness, and the pressure to have everything figured out.

Virtual sessions across Massachusetts, Tennessee, Virginia, and New York

Dating and Loneliness

Dating today can feel exhausting: endless swiping, rejection, and the temptation to just avoid the whole thing. We will work on breaking cycles of isolation and avoidance, so forming a real connection feels possible again.

Emotional Regulation

Frustration, irritability, and shutting down are often signals, not flaws. We will work on recognizing those signals earlier, so you have more choice in how you respond before emotions take control.

Identifying and Expressing Emotions

Many men were never taught the language for what they are feeling, only how to push through it. This work is about learning to understand what is actually going on internally and communicate it clearly, in everyday life and in your relationships.

Confidence and Decision-Making

Overthinking, fear of making the wrong choice, and constant self-doubt can keep you stuck in place. We will work on building the kind of grounded confidence that lets you move forward without needing to be certain first.

Masculinity, Values, and Faith

There is a lot of noise about what a man, or a Christian man, is "supposed" to do or be. We will work through those expectations together, so the choices you make reflect your genuine values, not just pressure from outside.

Underlying Patterns

Sometimes what looks like stress or a short temper is connected to something underneath it: anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, chronic stress, unresolved experiences, or years of pushing feelings down. We will look at what is actually contributing to feeling stuck, and build a plan from there.

How therapy can help

You do not need the right words or a clear diagnosis to start. Feeling stuck, frustrated, or disconnected is more than enough reason to reach out. We will figure out what is going on and what to do about it together.

Common Questions

About therapy for men

Do you work with men on dating and relationship challenges specifically?

Yes, dating and relationship concerns are one of the most common reasons men reach out, including loneliness, difficulty connecting, and patterns that keep showing up across relationships.

Is this therapy faith-based, or just for Christian men?

Faith integration is available for men who want it, but it is entirely optional. You can come in simply looking for a practical, judgment-free space to work through what you are experiencing.

What if I am not sure what is actually wrong, I just feel stuck?

That is a completely valid place to start. We will spend time together figuring out what is contributing to feeling stuck, whether that is anxiety, dating patterns, emotional regulation, or something else.
